Project Description and Objectives

The mission aims to equip SBEE project managers with a comprehensive and customized training program. The objective is to professionalize project management by covering not only technical and methodological aspects (based on the PMBOK® Guide) but also the behavioral and contextual skills essential for success.

Key Objectives:

  • Develop essential skills for project design and planning.
  • Acquire technical skills, behavioral abilities (leadership, motivation, stress management), and contextual knowledge (HR, legal, financing) required for effective project management.
  • Master key project management software and tools through advanced workshops.
  • Prepare and sit for the Project Management Institute (PMI) certification exam following a successful placement test.

Three-Phase Approach

A complete system from initial diagnosis to post-training support to ensure practical application of acquired skills.

Phase 1: Prerequisite Assessment

  • Online interviews with each project manager for diagnosis and identification of specific issues.
  • Adjustment of the training program based on identified needs.
  • Organization of three advanced MS Project workshops in Cotonou.

Phase 2: Theoretical Teaching (PMBOK® Guide)

  • Five intensive workshops based on PMBOK® Guide processes.
  • Active and participatory facilitation: lectures, demonstrations, real case studies, and hands-on exercises.

Phase 3: Practical Support and Coaching

  • Individual coaching sessions to facilitate implementation of concepts and preparation for PMI certification.
  • On-the-job support through the platform, with trainer assistance to validate practical application.

Final Deliverable

A detailed summary report concluding the mission and serving as a basis for SBEE’s internal follow-up.

  • Pedagogical evaluation (achievement of objectives).
  • Assessment of acquired skills (ability to apply knowledge).
  • Participant and trainer satisfaction rate.
  • Recommendations for deployment and post-training monitoring.
