• Analysis of FTTH technology deployment in Africa and identification of key challenges.
• Development of comprehensive guidelines and policies for network infrastructure protection.
• Establishment of construction codes to ensure quality and safety in FTTH deployment.
• Formulation of regulations and technical standards specific to the deployment and operation of FTTH infrastructures.
• Development of best practice models for collaborative construction to optimize resources and reduce duplication.
• Definition of next-generation universal service obligations to ensure equitable broadband access, particularly in underserved areas.
• Proposal of a roadmap for implementing infrastructure-sharing mechanisms to encourage efficiency and competition.
