Food items to Stay away from After Detoxification

Let us assume you are on one day fasting or mini-fasting program. You finished the program and are all ready to eat the next day. You are actually starving now. You've been fantasizing about eating all kinds of unhealthy foods and now you're free to get to them.

Stop! Detoxification process recently started, it's still in process and if you begin your after detoxification diet with all the unhealthy foods that made the harmful toxins in the very first place, the detoxification process with all its discomfort is going to be in vain. It is important to adhere to a mild diet after this and introduce your typical food bit by bit.

1. Make an effort to avoid caffeine for one day or two and do not drink decaffeinated beverages. Drink herbal teas instead.

2. Margarine, fat which is saturated (butter, dairy items except for low fat organic yogurt, red meat)

3. Wheat with products at least first two days after the detoxification. Don't consume even whole wheat products.

4. Processed, refined or even canned foods. They have a great deal of chemical compounds that create an unnecessarily burden for the body which is in the stage of flushing the existing toxins away.
