- The government will cut budget spending by 10 percent in 2015.

- The head of the Federal Property Agency Olga Dergunova doubts that it will be possible to sell any big assets of state property in the next three years.

- Russian independent gas producer Novatek is likely to receive 150 billion roubles ($2.56 billion) from the National Wealth Fund for its Yamal LNG project by January, according to the Economics Ministry.

- Russia's arms sales are higher than the figures made public by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, the daily says citing Russia's military. SIPRI experts have said that Russia was the only country in 2013 to raise its arms exports by 20 percent.

- Russia's Energy Ministry is insisting on cutting state investment in some projects aimed at launching hydro-power and atomic stations after finding that forecasts for energy demand had inflated figures.

- Crimea's government is planning to set up its own mobile operator as major providers in Russia are worried over possible sanctions if they enter the market.
